Looking to buy my first chronograph and am completely confused as to what to buy. My initial use will be a check the velocity of my air guns and powder burners. My criteria are: reliable, easy to setup and use, accurate, and repeatable recording of shots. Price is flexible, up to and including a Garmin. I’d appreciate your suggestions. Tom

I consider the Garmin and Athlon hardware to be almost the same. Check out their apps and see which you prefer. The price difference is a thing, too.

FX Archery Chronograph works fine for air rifles up to at least 1100FPS. Everything records to app on phone and speaks as you shoot. Just set it below your barrel and good to go.
