Tex Rex 457 valve coming loose

@Poke-E Seems like a similar issue occurs in Texans.

I have extensive experience with the old design, I may end up purchasing a Tex-Rex simply to understand the newer technology. With that being said, I need to ask if you are making, or have made, any adjustments to the top hat by backing it out, turning counterclockwise in an attempt to increase power?

I bought a Tex Rex 457 and when I shoot two or three shots the valve loosens up in the spin lock. I have to tighten it back up. I just simply grabbed the bottle and spin to tighten back up. Anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening?
You can't tighten the hex screw up enough to keep the nut from loosening up...The only way i fixed mine ....I have a full stock on my .510...I jammed rubber underneath tank and stock making a solid wedge basically...Its been good now...The recoil and springs and power more on T-rex...Can't imagine the the vibrations being less...Without a stock i dont now how to fix....here to help

@The Archer I may be mistaken but I do not believe the Tex Rex has a top hat per say. The valve is designed nothing like my standard Texan or the AAO valve, it is simply open at the part that would hold the top hat. 🤔
