I never was able to get on one of his “lists”, but I have talked with him on the phone a couple of times….he’s definitely a nice guy to talk to.

Yea, I tried getting on his list too, but never got picked. I picked up a couple of DAQ's locally. I gave him a ring early my time. I gave him serial numbers and he told me caliber, model, and when he made it. Super nice guy.

I just had the random notion to mirror polish my Don Cothran's barrel. It was fairly shiny before, having taken some 3000, 5000, 7000, and 10,000 grit sandpaper to it. Tonight I hit it with strops I normally use in knife sharpening for 5, 3.5, 1, and 0.5 micron

This is my big bore closet. There are more scattered around. There is a blitz and a talon there on the end, they don't count.

@AmericanPitCorsojay I don’t see the Rattler. What am I missing? Which hard case is that the you have the MCAR in?

I really am impressed with my rattler so far. It is super accurate, I've never had one problem with it. Aside from some of the trim pieces rattling around that I fixed with shims, it's a great gun.
I'm trying not to convince myself to buy the 457 longstrike. And I really need one of the new tex Rex 50cal also...

Buy a T -Rex in .510....I have a 100 lbs of 650 grain spire point boat tails .5 B.C....Close to 1000 ft lbs at 300 yards....Best airgun ballistics i know of...
