FX FX IMPACT - NEW VALVE ROD.

There are no major problems, only great solutions.
You know that as well before you've got your FX, that especially the Impact variants are tinkerer guns.
I would guess now, but I don't hear 95% users complaining for things. Yes, some questions here and there, but the most complaining those numbers doesn't triggers the design change.

"Impact variants are tinker guns". Thats not the same as a manufacturer known issue that keeps skirting the issue. Slow first shot are known issue. It would different if it was 1 or 2 first shots. Not 5 to 10.

It would probably have been more helpful if all topics related to this problem had been bundled together so that FX would have been under more pressure to come up with a solution.

I cannot imagine what you talking about, but I did my homework long ago I cannot remember.
Also I am shooting BR tethered and seasoning the springs and liners is part of a preparation for the game.

Check the forums about the slow-shot issue, it was solved by the community, yet FX chose to ignore it for over a year. Now they've “fixed” it with a drilled-out part, but no one really understands how it works because FX hasn’t provided any explanation.

I shoot benchrest too, and I've heard many reports about the Impact’s “wake-up” shots. For the price you pay for a standard Impact, it should be flawless — simple as that.

shooting from a bench isn't the same as sitting in the woods for hours waiting for the right moment to take a precise shot on an animal only to miss or only injure the animal because the gun needs to warm up. I agree FX needs to step up.

Sorry, but I don't understand.
If I am not happy with any of my purchases, there it goes down wind a next morning. I have no room in my brain cells for sourdough.

so you don't think FX holds any responsibility to research and improve a known issue with their flagship model? I guess we each have a right to our own opinion.

Sorry guys but if there was a solution common sense says UA or FX would be on it ! For me it is a love and hate thing , The Impact is flawed but I love it anyway and will be sending it back for the third time as long as UA is being paid by FX TO TRY AND FIX ! Bite them in the wallet OK ,

It has been a common sense, and we have 2 people that fix it. @mubhaur even tried to get people to take his design, but they won't. I believe @FX Airguns has people sign papers when selling their products that stop them from talking/ fixing their guns.

seems mubhaur has a solution, maybe FX should look into it, even pay him for the idea if it works.
I can't find the part. I need it. I love my impact, after my 2-5 shots get it moving it is so damn good. a duplicate velocity machine. I've just adopted the "viking method" for now. I really want one of these Mubhaur parts.

Get mubhaur part:

Or get the new part:

He bought the part from me and then copied it. At least he should mention it on his website.
Wow!

That's not right, mubhaur. You did all of the work and someone else getting the benefit.
You are correct, the very least would be to inform the customers that it is NOT their design, but yours. At least that way you will get some form of accolades for producing it in the first place as it's inventor.

Greetings Mubaur It is my understanding that you offered the part design to FX and they refused . If so can you say why they refused . Thanks Mubaur

Do you really think that FX listens to their customers? A big no.

Instead, they machined the old parts "fix" the issue. FX fixed it with a really cheap method. Mubhaur his part is honestly the best design.
