FX FX IMPACT - NEW VALVE ROD.

Here in the UK , Bagnall and Kirkwood told me today that there is a new valve rod available that is supposed to stop this first few slow shots on the FX impact, so once i aquire one i will see if it solves this issue on my .30 cal 700mm FX impact M4.

The fixes I have had so far [ 2 on warranty ] were good for around 3000 shots before acting up again . Just cleaning the rod works for a while . I just did contact UA for any updates and was told that FX said to UA that 5 to 10 warm up shots was acceptable as far as they are concerned . UA told me that it is not acceptable to them and that they [ UA] are going to continue to look for a permanent fix . FX needs to advertise this short coming in there sales of Impacts just to be fair and honest .

Welp, thank you UA for standing up, good on them. However thats a bs answer, so ill be going with a Red Panda. They made that decision for me.

This topic was hot in about 2022 time.
Many many ideas surfaced, change this and that,
but the only thing actually helped was
polishing the valve rod to mirror finish...only need maybe 1/2" length where the white oring rides.

This how much the Valve Rod moves total:

Ones there, polishing the HS and VS ends to shiny helps with consistency as well.

Mirror polish the Reg parts.

I had no reason to disassemble my MK2 since.

I wish FX would definitively fix this and then offer it to the current owners at a discount. That would reward those who have diligently tried to fix this problem. By the way, it IS a problem, and if FX tries to ignore it, that could definitely hurt their business. They need to take this seriously. I'm not an FX basher by the way, I have three right now, a DT, WC and Crown, so I'm not just bloviating. AND I have had two Impacts.

There are no major problems, only great solutions.
You know that as well before you've got your FX, that especially the Impact variants are tinkerer guns.
I would guess now, but I don't hear 95% users complaining for things. Yes, some questions here and there, but the most complaining those numbers doesn't triggers the design change.
