I found a crack in my stock today. It is just behind the action in the thumb groove. It is a squiggly line in the clear coat. I have a pair of pliers that spread and sure enough it is a split in the wood not the glue. I build model airplanes so I wicked in some CA glue from the back side and when I released the pliers it squeezed the glue through the crack. Even sealing the clear coat. Guess I won’t need to buy a new stock.
I guess it shows that the gluing between layers is better/stronger then the layer material . I assume thin plyboards used to layer seeing thats where the crack runs ..
