To be honest....I've been too tired to post anything about our team USA performance since coming home from Finland.
If I hadn't had a few people tell me that they were so sorry we didn't do well...I probably wouldn't be posting this. Haha
I guess most people assume that there was nothing to write home about if you haven't written home.
Team USA (Jeffrey, Bob, and I) won Gold in the team category for the Heavy Rifle competition.
Individually, I won Gold in 2gun, Gold in 3gun, Silver in Heavy Rifle, and Bronze in Light Rifle.
We all expected to do better in Unlimited but stuff happened....a lot of stuff.
The whole thing was incredibly stressful leading up to the event with preparation and travel problems ....and to top it off we got very sick while we were there. Fevers, chills, cough, and sore throat stuff. The jet lag itself was pretty devastating after crossing 11 time zones. Those things all together took a lot of wind from our sails but we did our best to represent the USA. We were all worn very thin by the time we made it home....then N50 Nats the following week. Haha
I only have one picture from the medals ceremony that someone else took. No cool pics of all our medals or shooting poses from the bench....sorry.

for the excellent shooting the conditions looked nasty and we all know they can be different from lane to lane and relay to relay day to day! Hats off!
