Thanks too all those who came out to the Meeker Sportsman Club today for our N50 match. We had great weather, but as always, the winds reared its ugly head and bit many not paying attention. Thanks to Rick Rizor and Joe Haubert for keeping us safe and in line, most of the time. Thanks to Missy Richards, Nancy Haubert, Diana Thomas, Bob Juengst and Tim Swan for assisting with the scoring. We had a first today for a Meeker match and perhaps in the history of N50? Pro Class shooter Rick Thomas was shooting his Anschutz Prototype BR gun and as he was indexing along his card he saw a fly land precisely on the X dot. I'm pretty sure that was that fly's fatal mistake? What do you think happened next? SPLAT ... What a moment to remember, which I am sure will be talked about for quite a while. Our next match is Saturday 9/6. For those who wish to stick around, we will be having some 100Y practice in preparation for the up coming Pyramid Air Cup International 100Y pellet gun match held at the Cardinal Center in Marengo, Ohio.
