I don't think it detracts from the awesome achievement for an entry level gun if it has a huma reg, port job or trigger job...heck even re-barreled...it is nice to see a new brand, and in many ways the underdog take the crown.

I don't know where in this thread things went from congratulating a shooter for their accomplishment to some high end air gun vs entry level airgun debate that glorifies high end airguns for being BR ready off the shelf..
Is this some kind of advert for high end airguns or just the desire to defend the high end airguns in a thread about an Avengerr-X winning a competition?

Since my first comment on this thread I've shot another 200 with a SPA bullpup, my Bullshark in 22. My 5 SPA guns all have SPA barrels and SPA regulators. I do have an extra barrel for my P35-25 but it is not more accurate than the original. I managed to raise it's best to a 198 this year. I have not invested in pricey scopes either with an Arken EPL-4 6-24 the most expensive.
I am happy whenever anybody shoots well with whatever gun they like and have the budget for. But I admit I get a extra kick from "cheap guns" doing well.

The question then becomes how many of those contestants actually buy a lower end rifle to compete with it? By far they all buy or are sponsored by the more expensive ones! So its not a legitimate question.

Congrats to this fine shooting lady.
My pal bought an Avenger 22 at a junk auction and we were blown away at how it shoots. I did a rework of the trigger and it's a keeper.

Targets were placed stationary at 5 / 10 / and 15 feet. It was the extreme hold under nationals tournament. lol j/k
