FX 200 yards: FX Panthera, Element Nexus, ZAN Hyper Line, Stud, Accu-Tac, ST7.

It took a bit of effort, but I finally found the right settings and velocity. I tried 920, 930, 940 FPS. The BC didn’t change much, but the group size did. My Panthera liked the ELR Hyper Line best at +/- 920 FPS which resulted in a G1 BC of .23

Could you see the hyper line slugs traveling to the target better than a plain slug ?
Yes!

I spent the whole morning tuning, and I could see the flight / trajectory very clearly. Then when the temperature hit about 95°, the Mirage really started to kick up, which made it a bit more difficult to see. Next time, I’ll try to do some scopecam filming.

Nice looking setup. I look forward to potential updates on paper group sizes you're able to achieve with some more time with the projectiles. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

The next question for the day is, where did you get them from ? Pyramid Air is saying 10/1/2025 for an ETA.
I bought several boxes of both weights directly Zan. Shipping was a little less than 40.00 but they have them. Shipping is through DHL. It takes about 10 days to get to my place in Texas.

Does the Nexus have small eye-box, please?

Mike
When I hear the term "eye box" I interpret it as how "forgiving" the position of your eye is relative to a full sight picture. With almost any scope the eye box is typically less forgiving at high magnifications. But to answer your question - the eye box on the Nexus G2 is more forgiving at the highest magnification than most scopes I own. I spent many hours using it on high magnification. With a lesser scope I would've gotten a headache and called it quits.

Hope that helps

I saw that. $32 per box of 200 which includes shipping if you order 5 boxes. Looking forward to testing them out and comparing to the Altaros and ACE (Corbin) of approx the same weight. Interesting times…

My intentions were to test the Altaros 40g Kings at the same time. However, the conditions became unfavorable, and the trigger on my Pantera was acting up. I’ll have to save that testing for another day and another thread.

You wouldn't happen to have a idea of when the rest of the 22 cal Hyper Line slugs will actually be available? I know you can pre order some of them. I got an email for those ELR ones. But the shipping was crazy on them.
