RAW Rapid Raw 9mm silencers questions

I have a 9 mm Raw barrel with a silencer that I want to remove/change. The aluminum piece is stuck and there there is no movement. I am now wondered if that piece is threaded or shrink fit on barrel. Does any knows this before I break it trying to remove it.

Actually this looks exactly like how Martin does the older RAW integrated moderators on the barrel. There is excessive epoxy on the aluminum air stripper, but it may have been redone after it was built. Use a torch or heat gun as mentioned to remove the aluminum air stripper.

BTW, I have found that Martins integrated moderators with the air stripper and stacked chambers work very well and do not affect accuracy at all. I believe they work better than most screw-on moderators you can buy.

This one works great but It needs to move forward as it in the way when I place a inline Plenum.
I used a 400cc Theoben bottle for testing but would like to place an 580cc carbon bottle so I need to modified it.

First step is to move the backpiece of the moderator forward and hope its still effectief and if not I will need an new moderators

That back piece looks to be a weight having to do with barrel harmonics . personally i would not move it , might lose accuracy. end up with a shotgun pattern ?
