What springer did you shoot today?

62F again in morning, high 76 with wind. Worked my butt off on dock and wall. Got time for a few gems.
Before shooting I painted my targets. I don’t know if your mother told you which paint covered best. I’ve tried everything, the best I found flat white.
First gun a HW35 .177

Superb gun. Dead nuts on.
Last for the day, it’s now dark at 8:30pm, what a drag. Pulled out a R9 .20. A gun that doesn’t like to miss.

Great day. Crow

Wind was starting to gust and thunder roll but got a little playtime in. FWB 124 .177 and HW35E .177. Threw some cans out 18 yd from where I was standing. If you hit them just right on the edge they dance. This pair causes a lot of dancing. Only issue shooting these two together is I have to not rip the barrel off the 124 cocking it after I’ve been shooting the 35 and have to remember to thumb the latch open on the 35 after shooting the FWB. The 124 has an ARH softer kit so it’s really easy to cock. Occurred to me while shooting that a man could live his life with just these two airguns and have a pretty darn good time. Not that I have any intention of doing so, but still 😉.

Specie, those two are beautiful.

Hilarious, same thing happened to me few days ago after shooting the 35. I reached for that latch on the R9 every time. Great rifles you have there.
‘Yesterday and today I turned on the furnace. Down in high 50’s in morning. 2 days ago the temp is in the 80’s. Thurs. Fri. back in the 80’s. Crazy. Crow

If you think that's crazy try Texas, or anywhere in the deep south USA in winter. We may have single digits one week and upper 70's the next.

Shot this gem HW30 .22. What a sweet gun.View attachment 587597Crow
Sweet looking , and sweet shooting you would need a whole tin of pellets to shoot all the targets in the back ground. Still in love with that beautiful outdoor spot where you live. OV.

Today it was 105° out then it went down to 77° after some clouds rolled in , and dumped some rain. So I went out back and shot the 350 magnum.
Finally got a new phone. I shot 5 shots in the hole circled green. OV . Can't believe it went to attach files , and it went to drive again something wrong with Airgun Nation attach files ?

Thanks. It takes over 2 hours to hit all the targets, I call it “The Gary” and a good challenge.
Hope to get back to shooting soon. Took a dive last Monday. Crow

déjà vu. I love shooting in winter. Probably because I have waymore free time. Not far off. Crow
I could too but the problem down here is that it does not get really cold long enough to get used to it. I remember 60 years ago when I was in college a friend and I went out to the range with our powder burners. It was cold, windy and sleeting and we kept shooting.
Nowdays you are apt to see people running around in shorts and t shirts one day and heavy coats the next.
