I’m currently in the data-gathering stage for a presentation on starting a possible Hunter Field Target (HFT) league on the north side of Fort Wayne, IN.
I realize there have been mentions of something similar in the past that never quite came together, but this time around the renewed interest has been very encouraging. So far, I’ve received a lot of support and positive feedback, which is motivating me to take this idea further and eventually submit a proposal to the facility.
What’s needed right now?
At this stage, it’s pretty simple: I’d like to get a sense of how many people within a reasonable driving distance would be interested in shooting HFT at a quality outdoor facility.
Please note—since this project is still in its infancy, I’m not able to share specific details about the potential location just yet. Releasing that information too early could disrupt the chances of moving this campaign forward. Once things are more concrete, I’ll be able to provide full details.
