N/A Advice on portable shooting table

The Lincoln is made completely out of metal has a 500 # capacity. That work table looks janky AF in comparison.
Not that you really need a welding table as a platform, but it is mutli-use.

Made this table probably 5 or 6 years ago, left unfinished, never used it as I made another shooting bench at my shop range made out of cca 2x4s that could stay outside. I just acquired some new shooting land which will require me to bring something portable to shoot off of. Just stained and polyurethaned the top in anticipation of using, probably should have just painted it but already thinking of making something more solid and portable.

Was thinking of making one with the rugged buddy legs but cannot find them. Been looking at different options, does anyone have or tried the Cabela's portable table? sells for $79.99

I made some of these, about 45 years ago, and mine is still going. It has been transported all over for shoots, gopher shooting, reloading in remote locations, and so on.
Some pipe couplers, sawn at an angle, that I welded to plates. Countersunk holes for screws and lenghts of pipe as legs. They are quite solid, much superior to any of the factory ones that I have tried. The seat has a shelf with coss barrier to hold fired cases while gopher shooting. Sometimes 1,000 .223, & 22-25o 4o degree Ackey. They haven't even needed a new coat of painy, alothough....

I have that same table. Don't leave it out in the Texas sun. Mine is not flat any more. I find it a little less stable than I would like too, but I think it is just the price you pay for portablility and easy storage.
