What did you do airgun related today.

I fill from my tank so no breaks from the heat to refill my AR, the tank usually lasts a week then gets topped off inside. Even inside, I run the compressed air through a couple of moisture absorption filters to ensure no moisture makes it into the tank and then my AR. If I stopped shooting to refill my AR with the compressor, I’d probably get distracted and end up taking another nap.
I looked you up... you're quite a ways down there. I'm up here just south of Montgomery.

A single shot loader for the Theoben Rapid mkii. Rook a few tries, but got it figured out and working.

The three versions. 1st one was a test for fitment. Things fit just fine, except the probe didn't close, and the 177 pellet didn't fit through the opening.

Second try worked great except it was really fiddly to get a pellet loaded.

Third was the final and works great. Still nice and tight in the reciever, and easier to put a pellet into the rifle.

Overall this 3d printer is a great addition to the armory!

I worked on my Notos today. It has a 500mm FX barrel, 500mm FX barrel kit, new valve, and hammer spacer from C88-Air. Also has the AR adapter kit, and Handguard from Buck-Rail.

Then I added my own little twist with a re-designed upper picatinny rail that slides over the carbon fiber shroud, and clamps the barrel shroud and bottle together. I added a lower picatinny rail so I could mount a bi-pod on the front. I also incorporated two Mlok slots for accessories. I put a Sling mount on one side, but im not sure what I will put on the otherside. Still light as a feather, but with a pi-bod now.

Still working on odds and ends with my Zelos. Started a few new designs for my Karma, and planning a few parts for the Barra 250z stock that will hopefully show up next week.20250817_090816.jpg20250817_090807.jpg20250817_090842.jpg20250817_090851.jpg

Well, the last day and a half have been about stripping and refinishing two Feinwerkbau 601’s. stripped one with fine sanding blocks and the other with citrus strip. Both tru oil and then waxed. The first two pictures was before the job and the last is after. Not a huge difference but I like them better now. Both have whisper sticks and Trijicon SRO dot sights. I will probably get around to cutting off the rail adapters next.

Bored as anything, pulled out the ole Dreamline Dreamlite, aired it up with Alkin W 31. Shot this at 31 yards. 92 degrees with 67% humidity. The bottom hole ( top group) was aim point. Measures 13.5 mm OD vertical and I guess subtract 5.5 mm? Probably could have been all in one hole but rear rest ain’t the best. ( my excuse haha) I just shoot pest animals and don’t shoot paper.

I got the Tuxing twin cylinder compressor running today , and toped off the oil then filled up the Zelos , and the Tactical Guantlet then topped off the 6.8L air tank to full 4,500 psi. Then later I shot some sharpie dots with 28g slugs in Zelos. I got 7 dead on then lost my concentration. , but shot 2 five shot groups in the same ragged hole after that.
I love that new Zelos double mag.

Actually yesterday. Took my .25 Bullshark out and shot umpteen-dozen pellets I cast with my new NOE 250-27 mold. Was hoping the lighter grains would work, but was actually the heaviest (30g) that shot best and wouldn't you know I didn't cast many of those. Accuracy with them isn't nothing to brag about but a dead squirrel at 50yds, though not a head shot past 30. Also shot for to long and was losing concentration by end of the day when I got to the heavies. I'm off next week so I'll cast a bunch of them then work on tuning for them.
Also learned that though casting pellets can go pretty quick, sorting is time consuming. Need to do it better next time, tighter fitting pellets really slowed shooting through crono.
