Wild Pig “Hunt” with Huben GK1 and Slugs

Why is “HUNT” in quotes?
@CCook Because the use feeders eliminates various elements of hunting. In my opinion shooting animals under and around feeders is not hunting if one is not old and is still able bodied. The content creator is climbing a ladder into a tree stand which demonstrates to me that he is able bodied. The fact that he fails to use a harness or other visible safety equipment says he isn’t too concerned about remaining able bodied.

My experience has shown me that it is very easy to get very close to wild pigs and hogs without bait.

Interesting. So what do you consider a hunt?

My guess :There is contention amongst hunters about feeders, fences and sometimes blinds.

For feral hogs I am of the opinion that all of the "fair chase" and ethics arguments go out the window. At least here in the states.

Ive run into people who've argued sitting up on a boulder 500 yards away and sniping pigs isn't hunting, it's just killing. That sort of stuff because It doesn't give the game a chance to get spooked and run off.

20 pumps to max? I couldn’t tell how high he pumped it. Looks clear to me that I couldn’t as I don’t weigh enough.

Not so sure he knows anything about the gun.
@Struckat He does say that he has it cranked up to produce 5 high-powered shots. I’m assuming he isn’t shooting down past 12 mpa. A safe assumption is that he is topping off the GK1 reservoir from no less than 120 bar with his hand pump.

i wish he’d have provided pertinent details like slug grain weight, diameter, style, velocities, and distance to target. Also starting and ending reservoir pressure.
