Crosman Vapor Max?

Thoughts on this? Looks like a Daisy 880 with better a quality stock. Maybe same internals and piston as the Winchester 77 variant?

Description

The Crosman Vapor Max .177 air rifle is the next evolution in variable pump air rifles—engineered for power, versatility, and value.

Chambered in .177 caliber, this multi-pump pneumatic rifle delivers up to 14 foot-pounds of energy, with velocities reaching up to 1100 FPS with alloy pellets and 900 FPS with lead. Whether you’re targeting pests or perfecting your aim, the Crosman Vapor Max .177 air rifle puts you in complete control. Adjust your power on the fly:

  • 2 pumps: up to 450 FPS
  • 5 pumps: up to 900 FPS
  • 10 pumps: maxes out at 1100 FPS
Included are two Crosman Mag-Fire auto-indexing magazines—each holding 10 shots. While they load individually, having a second magazine at the ready means less downtime between reloads and more shooting with fewer interruptions. It’s a practical upgrade that adds real value to your shooting experience.

Some reason looks like this gamo .

Maybe a rebranding. It was funny that crosman popped up at the near same as this one disappeared (???)

Don't know ?

Oops.. thats right , gamo owns crosman ... Case closed ..lol

Gamo China crosman is a non starter for me now. I'm hurt and bitter that they've stolen my love of 30 years. I bought one china crosman and it had to be returned within a week due to trigger group component failure, and I'm still really mad about the gamo acquisition and brand cheapening and disposal of certain components and tooling (as I was told on the phone)

I don't know what other beginner starting options we have anymore that aren't chinese. Their return procedure is sloppy to day the least and I sincerely hope you don't have to return anything. Best of luck

I really hope this is temporary but I am not holding my breath. I think the only good pumper left is the out of production Sheridans. I was lucky enough to find a NOS 72' Sheridan Blue Streak.

I suggest to anyone that wants a good pumper to find an old Sheridan and refurbish it or get an HW30 and be done with it.

Crosman done cheapend themselves on there own .. well the few holding companys that yossed yhem around did that .. gamo just picked up the mess on the cheap ..

Honestly only thing crosman had left going for them was hollow point pellets affordable at Walmart .

Well, its seems mine is on the way; too bad I wont be here next week to get my greedy hands on it when it arrives; at least I will have something to report on my return. Honestly, I just can't wait to take it apart.
😂😂 Right on, I just checked and mine will be here Monday.

Ok guys my Vapormax came in today so I wanted to do a little review. First thoughts are the stock feels pretty solid for it being all plastic it does shoulder well and the pump arm doesn't seem to flex much. The action and magazines are a little sticky but I'm sure they will smooth out as I shoot it more. The trigger is a little heavy averaging 5.7 lbs but does break well and is not overly long. Pumping is pretty easy to 5 pumps but not heavy at 10.
Ok now to the shooting, my house is at 7000' (2133m) so all my air guns except my pcp and co2 guns have a disadvantage but I can say this gun shoots accurately and pretty hard here are some velocities with a few pelles,

So far I'm really liking this, I will be putting a scope on it so more accuracy testing to come.
