Thanks again to all those who came out to shoot today. The heat was brutal but thanks to Paul we had plenty of cold water to drink. Thanks also to Nancy, Joe and Missy for providing chips and pretzels to snack on. We only had 13 shooters today but considering today's heat attendance was expected to be down.
The conditions were challenging as always. The wind was constantly switching and swirling and the scores reflected that seeing no one could squeeze out that unicorn 250 score. We even held an impromtu second match and still no 250's. Darn those sure are hard to come by.
We also want to welcome Rob W. for coming out to watch the match today. Hopefully we will see Rob return again toting an airgun too
I also want to congratulate Vince Vance and Bob Juengst who just took over 1st and 2nd place in the national Factory Class rankings. Jeff Richards is in 5th in Pellet class and I managed to slip into 3rd place. Mark Clemons is also climbing up the ladder into 4th place in the Pro Class national rankings. Its encouraging to see Meeker Shooters moving up and into the top positions nationally. Keep up the great work guys!
