I must be daft, saying that is a nice deal at too low of a price or bad deal all the way around?

The barrel is separated from the tube because of the wedge clamped rear sight.

There's a silver line between the barrel and tube, which suggests that the solder joint failed.

Well, if the resolder job was done correctly, what's the issue?
