Tuxing TXEDT032 4500 psi Compressor problems

Recently acquired a Tuxing TXEDT032-1 compressor. Followed the break-in instructions. Filled my first tank a couple of months back. It seemed slower to fill that I anticipated. I don't recall the exact time that it took as I was filling a 9l tank from empty and I stopped and started a few times as it seemed the temp was getting higher than I anticipated. It eventually filled the tank to 4500psi. Well today I went to top off the tank, and after about 45min (compressor gauge was at 500psi) I decided to stop and do a deadhead test to see how long it would take to reach 4500 psi. After 30min. I stopped as the compressor gauge wouldn't go pass 500 psi again. Thinking I must have some issues somewhere. I sprayed some soapy water around the obvious areas and didn't see any obvious bubbles. Where should I focus on? Not really familiar with this compressor yet as I usually use my GX CS4.

How long should a deadhead test take on this compressor to reach 4500 psi?

The specs for the compressor https://www.tuxingcn.com/TUXING-TXE...essure-Air-Compressor-Auto-stop-p3816530.html , I have the 110v version. As you can see, it has built in cooling, and temp gauge. I vaguely recall it getting up to about 125° and "I" turned the compressor off, of course leaving the cooling on. It did not shut off by itself...Wasn't sure if this was normal temps or not. It's 2 months old. Probably has 3 hours on it. I'd have to look to see what oil I put in, I believe it was this one, but can't remember if it was ISO 46 or 100.

Roaro, check the following:
1. Put in dead head turn on water the fire up compressor, check relief valve at to gold cylinders see if you feel air coming from hole in end of it.
If so tip Oring needs replacing. Shut down, remove PRV and relace oring.
2. Check to see while running if there is air bubbles in water line, if so replace head gaskets in Low pressure head.
3. Look at oil level prior to starting make sure at red dot no higher. Then turn on compressor, if the oil level rises significantly in site glass. More than likely HP Piston rings need replacing. ( the oil level may move a little higher under normal operation do to piston push but it should not rise alot. )

For Oil we highly suggest Seco 500 Syn. I have 400 hrs on my 032 Tuxing been filling tanks for 4 years with it and using Seco and regular maint. she has been a great compressor. (Royal purple not really good for pressures above 2700psi as it breaks down quickly at that point).

If you need help call Veradium Air they are Tuxing repair site and we can narrow down the issue with you, and help gettting it running properly.

Thanks for all of the info. I'll check some things out this weekend. One thing I noticed, the oil is quite a bit darker than it was.
Also, what is the function of this breather thing? I noticed there was air bubbles coming out from behind this when spraying soapy water while the compressor was running. I'm assuming that might be normal?

Yes, normal.
