Skout Epoch leaking from regulator when trying to fill

👆that's the only kind of service I've ever got from Skout right there. Impeccable
Same experience here when I had my epoch. Generally always got an answer on the phone. I luckily never experienced functional problems with my epoch , however I’ve read about the problem you are having numerous times so I’m sure they are aware and will be able to help you.

Is the fill pressure less than your HPR setting?
Possible you need to take a dry fire when the leak starts to seal the valve
or you might have a damaged oring in the regulator
Thanks for your input, I've removed and checked both HP and LP regs and o-rings are fine. Can't check set pressures because I can't get enough air into the gun for gauges to move. Tried dry fire to no avail. Guess I need to wait for Skout to respond.

I had the same problem gun wouldn't fill losing to much air through high pressure reg , I took the reg apart couldnt see any problems still leaked , so I got In touch with skout I spoke to a guy named Keith he was very helpful any way long story short I sent the gun back to Skout after a couple of weeks I got the gun back supposedly fixed nope still leaked sent It back a second time by this time they had replaced the H reg spoke to Keith he said he left It for a couple of days and the reg pressure was stable , got the gun back It still leaks but not as bad as before If I fill It up to 250 psi and leave It for a few days the gun Is empty . At least now I can fill the gun with air I guess that's a plus ....But I have to say Skout were very helpful even If they didnt fix the gun .

I’ve found that when reconnecting the bottle If the HP reg starts to leak have a 3/16 Allen key at the ready and turn the HP knob CCW slowly and 9/10 times this will work. Sometimes turning the key both CCW and CW while air is rushing in that will work also.

Skout put out a maintenance/service manual online for the EVO, totally separate from the owners manual. They go in great detail on servicing the regs. This manual applies to both the epoch and the EVO, since they share the same regs.
