Taipan Taipan SLASH Review (World's Top Semi Auto Air Rifle)

CORRECTION!!!: That is NOT the BLEED SCREW (shown at the end of this video). DO NOT UNSCREW THAT SCREW UNDER PRESSURE. It is the test pressure guage port to ad an included test guage. Probably for reg pressure. To see it.

Got $2500 burning a hole in your pocket? Here you go:

This aint' no Western Sidewinder...way nicer. Worth the $, if you got it to spend, in my opinion. Best slug shooter out there for sure. Thanks for watching! -Nate

The vector objects did not work at all.
Nate, What Vector Optics and Element Optics scopes and magnifications were you using? Which did you like best on the Slash?
The vector optics did not work at all. I could not get the cross hairs and the barrel to line up. Crosshairs pointing too low. I used the helix because I had to. I always prefer the continental. I like the thinner cross hairs.

Umm, sir, did you say “meow”?😂

Any shot strings put together on it?
I never did a full shot string but here is the sample 10 shots that came with the gun. I'm sure you get at least 50 regulated shots if not more.

This particular one I did not get to keep. But I liked it so much I bought it. So it's going in the glass case. I won't sell it until I accidentally drop it on the pavement or it falls out of my car while I'm driving or something like that. In my life that is a real thing. The virtus 22 I reviewed, I accidentally ran over it with my truck on the way to mail it. I told the guy who was buying it and he said quit messing with me. It was mostly okay so he took it anyway and I gave him a few bucks off.

Those are some of the guns that made the cut.

Wow, that’s last collection. I always thought watching all your videos that you would have something like 60 guns. When are you gonna do more hanging and shooting? I love those videos too.
I actually do have about 60 guns. Those were the only ones I could fit in that cabinet. I still have piles of guns in boxes. But I do sell most of them which is why I only have 60. Rick Rehm Shooter 1721 had 280 guns, 2 years ago. He probably has about 350 now. In about 3 weeks I can do another Slash video and shoot it properly at 50-100 yards.

Def can’t wait for that. This video honestly was yeeeah…everything shoots well under 40 yards. Looking forward to it getting stretched out.

Don't touch and or adjust this or that? Ah, that doesn't really fit with what I see going on with most airgunners. 🤔 Shooting both a variety of slugs and pellets accurately! Yeah, MEOW! 🐈‍⬛ What a heck of a ripping air rifle right out of the starting gate for Taipan in semi ... sweet setup.

kaylaindy, thank your for the review and caliber choice.

Thanks! Part 2 on the way for sure. We actually did a poll a few months ago and about 70% wanted to see the .22. I'm glad I got it since it's just as powerful as a .25. They were very clear in the manual NOT to adjust the gun, even though it's adjustable. Only if you "have an extensive knowledge of airgun tuning".

Nate, Great job on the Slash video and looking forward to part 2!!

Also, as you know, Taipan released a bunch of YouTube Slash videos on how to "adjust this... or that" for those of us that want more.. No need for you to go there too IMHO.

Good call. Thank you! Yeah my next video should be just straight shooting. That will go quicker in the editing room.

Whats the general thoughts about that 'delay' invloved in pulling the trigger for semi auto? Not saying I'm Jerry Miculek on the trigger, but had no issues with the Huben or Leshiy.
My thoughts are that the M4 takes 38 seconds to recharge the plenum. That gun takes 1 or 2 seconds. So I would not worry about it.

Thank you let us know when that video is coming up. We’re always looking forward to your videos. There’s some of the highest quality videos both and camera work and editing plus it’s nice that you actually use different weight pallets in both Hollow point or hunting pallets and regular ones. Thank you again.

Well, in this video they sure make it look simple, dont know why Taipan says two completly differente things. Maybe they want to have they're asses covered when someone does something stupid?

Anyway, great video!
