Brocock/BRK Replace Ghost Gauges?

So my reg gauge is moving in steps, I was going to replace those tiny ones anyway.

I want to use sekhmet 25mm but they say not to use a dowty seal on them(dangerous). Can you use a x-ring in the gauge hole? The regulator gauge hole has the opening in the side, not sure that will work? I have a bag of x-rings from my FX.

What size dowty seals are on the stock gauges? Any links if you have ordered them? Seems Wika gauges can use a dowty seal, I may go that route also.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello

are you trying to fit 25mm on Ghost? I wouldn’t try fit 25mm on Ghost.

28mm size is for Ghost.
I used PTFE(white plastic) in the gauge hole on my Ghost because I didn’t see any oring inside, then I added oring.

So the regulator side read fine even though the sensing hole is on the side and not the bottom. If so, I’ll try it.
if white plastic is blocking hole, don’t use it. All you need is one oring.
ex) on my Mora, when I took out factory gauge oring was still inside so I just install Sekhmet. no extra oring needed.(25mm Sekhmet for Mora)

I cannot see any reason the 25 mm wouldn’t be just fine. It is an easy to use straight forward gauge. I think the 28 mm one has all the features and is more expensive. If it were me I’d go 25…bigger than stock but smaller than the large 28.

I’m following as I have an extra 25mm one I was thinking of putting on my delta wolf. Does sekhmet state why the dowty cannot be used ?

I kinda think as long as you don’t torque it hard it might be ok?

There is the Outgun angle bracket that you can use the dowty on the base piece and the gauge screws into the bracket with a xring. https://www.sekhmetonline.com/produ...uge-bracket-for-fx-brk-skout-airforce-airguns

Hey everyone,

Glad to join the discussion, from what we’ve learned, the BRK Ghost does come with Dowty seals on both sides of its factory gauges, but there’s a key difference in how the air flows through each side—let us break it down:

  • For the high-pressure gauge (reading cylinder pressure): Even though it uses a Dowty seal from the factory, the bottom of the thread has a vent hole (check the attached photo). This means you can switch to an O-ring seal here, right at the base of the thread.

  • For the regulator gauge: The air flows through a side port, and there’s no vent hole at the bottom (see the second photo). So this side does need to keep the Dowty seal at the thread base to work properly.

Plenty of Ghost owners have installed our gauges this way with no issues—so no need to worry! Just remember to hand-tighten only (no tools) to avoid over-tightening, and you’ll be good to go.

Huge thanks to sub12 airgunner for sharing the video that helped clarify this—really appreciate it! And thanks to everyone for the great discussion—keep the questions coming!

Here are some photos shared by other users who installed our pressure gauges on BRK Ghost. As there is no stock limitation, you can choose any size according to your functional requirements, aesthetic preferences, and budget.

We hope these photos can give you some inspiration. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to let us know.
