Unfortunately just normal behavior for me...Yeah, there are a few other terms that bid to bubble forth from just beyond the subconscious level:
● It progressed catastrophically
● It progressed ruining my savings
● It progressed beyond reason and rationality
● At first, it progressed unnoticeably... — until it progressed unstoppably!
Any resemblance to actual persons, myself included, is purely coincidential.

I have a garage full of odd toys (bikes, boards, skis) that are in various stages of going unused. I'll get around to it again eventually.
The AG thing I knew could potentially be an obsession. I had a Beeman R10 back before adulthood took over & remember the hours spent shooting it. The issue now is more that Im single & lack any adult supervision
It's just another gear intensive hobby & way cooler than golf

Like many others, I’ve been burned buying “cheap”/inexpensive items in other areas. The Benjamins are less expensive but generally well-proven designs, so they “set the hook.” After that though, I started chasing higher-end PCPs. Not solely because they cost more, but because you get what you pay for. There are obviously some exceptions there (the Marauder being one), but for the most part there’s a happy medium between cheaper, entry-level PCPs and the point of diminishing returns, and I try to play in that area.
Not sure what I’ll do with the Cayden. It’s FINALLY going back for a warranty claim on the messed up scope rail (life’s gotten in the way every single time I’ve tried to send it in previously), so we’ll see what I think when I get it back. I like how it looks and feels and I need a good .22 PCP to eat up all the JSB 18.13s I’ve stocked up on. That being said, I’m eyeing a .177 PCP again purely from a shot count perspective. A rifle I can squeeze 400+ shots out of per fill sounds awfully attractive in comparison to my .25s that all seem to get 50ish shots per fill…

The 2.5 Matador, tell us more. I did not know .177 was available back then. Very interesting.

Ed said that he makes/made very few 177 EdGun Matadors and my Matador is one of maybe three in the USA, all the rest go to European countries with power level restrictions. The Lelya is more common in 177 and many of those have made it to the USA. I wanted to try and shoot field target with the Matador and detuned it to 12 ft-lbs since it shot better at a lower power level with the pellets I had at the time. Great little rifle, needed a bit of weight on the front end for the offhand lanes. The most difficult part to get over was the trigger, its not great and you need a nice and light trigger for FT. Its better than the Cricket I had (which I forgot to list)....

My .35 R5M Matador makes 40 accurate shots @ 59 FPE, an absolute beast.

Like probably many here I started with a Notos and have since added:

Now I want to get more into 100y BR and looking at Skout Evo or FX Impact in .30 cal. Leaning towards the Skout being a software engineer but at the same time I appreciate being able to tune all aspects manually of the AG.

My first pcp was a Benjamin Maximus In .22 I think. Then I decided I wanted a .25 just because I didn’t have one so I got a Gauntlet 2 and since I want 2 of everything I got a Gauntlet. There’s an Anschutz target rifle. I don’t know if a co2 gun counts so I won’t mention those. I like all of them and see no reason to sell any. I would take a loss on the sale and then buy another one….
