Other Which 30 cal

The panda does do well, the rest are not up to par. One good gun does not make a brand great, just that gun. The red panda was not an option in this post as well.
Lol kinda wild to make that statement since the Red Panda was their only offering until last year and there is some carry over from the Red Panda…EQ and SLS have smaller versions of the same barrel, radial transfer port ect… there’s much less of a sample size on the EQ vs the SLS but the SLS has gotten some great reviews and they aren’t easy to find for sale on the used market.

My point being that while they haven’t been sold in huge numbers the people who do have them seem to really like them.

You’re completely entitled to your opinion of course. But you’re speaking as if you “know” and frankly I don’t think you do.

And I didn’t say the red panda was option here. I don’t shoot benchrest so I certainly wouldn’t want one. Just pointing out that your opinion on the brand has everything to do with your dislike of AEA and not because of a knowledge about Karma. You say “that doesn’t make it any better…” but by your own admission the red panda is good. I don’t remember anyone winning RMAC with an AEA like they have with a red panda so that alone points to the DonnyFL involvement as a step up.

Show me an actual review of a SLS that is not an advertisement. Both the SLS and EQ have crap triggers, the EQ less so. You can be a fan but they are not up to par with FX,AGT, Kalibrgun, etc. They are better than regular
AEA, so a polished turd.
Lol yeah I stand by what I said. Your “knowledge” is opinion.

The way some of y’all whine about triggers makes me laugh. I guess if all I did was punch paper I’d care more but all I do with my guns is kill critters so some feather light, little trigger means nothing to me.

Nor am I a fangirl. I give zero f***s about AEA… but I did notice that all the guns you mentioned are very expensive and have a certain “prestige.” So it’s fine, I get it. You got a lot of money and Brand Name means a lot to you. It’s cool dog enjoy your nice guns it’s all good.

I’ll just be over here outshooting, out hunting and out tuning you with my “polished turd.” 🤡 🤡

Feelings and facts are different things, but continue on. I buy used and trade around, just ended up with what i have over time. I started out on the cheapies and mid tier, just decided I like the others more. Spend your money how you like, I bet iI have less money in my "prestigious" guns than the Karma products. I have probably.owned more guns than you have shot, powder or air. My "knowledge " is from years of experience. Again continue on your way, obviosly a civil conversation is not it.

I found this for you… want me to email them and see if they’ll make a plenum like this for your DRS?

The FX logo is a little small on the gun so a nice LV plenum might be a great way to let people know you don’t mess with “polished turds.”

And for the record I am being civil… but when you tell someone they bought “a polished turd” the fluttering of your skirts and clutching of pearls about “civil conversation” falls on deaf ears.
Ive bought plenty that turned out to be turds, never been butthurt about it. Defending your purchase is one thing, ut gettimg mad because someone else doesnt like it? Thats kid stuff. Enjoy your Karma.

Each gun is different. I thought someone with so much experience like you would know that by now…. Which is why I don’t sit on the internet and call a bunch of whole a$$ brands “turds.”
Especially when anyone with “knowledge” should know that half the point of this sport is to TUNE your gun. There’s probably someone out there with an AEA and a Hatsan that will outshoot anything you or I will ever own.

Keep clutching them pearls sweetheart.

Dang it don’t make me blush when I’m trying to be butthurt 😂

And yeah I don’t care what people think I about my gun. I’m not that insecure.

What I don’t like is gatekeepers and people “yuking other people’s yummm.” This isn’t the cheapest hobby in the world and I think that kind of stuff makes it more inaccessible. Especially for the younger generations. So when a noob comes on here to learn about their new gun and see’s some middle aged or old dude (I’m middle aged haha calm down) that doesn’t really do a lot for the sport.

I want the sport to get even bigger than it is now. Why? Because more people means a bigger market and thus more products. More innovation, more mods… just more cool new stuff. I personally would love to see more kid sized PCP’s because I wanna start my daughters on airguns before I get them powder burners.

I asked in an open forum what gun I should get for my specific needs. About 2 pages of nutless giving no practical advice…then cantinaboy256 just lays out the truths. He was right about the airgun advice. I can’t keep up with his Tesla like paragraphs of explanations on machinining these guns to his needs. All I know is when cantaloupe256 speaks…just listen!

The problem is some factions insist their opinion/experience is the only ones that matter. Everyone else needs to stop with their "incorrect" experience. And often these types do not have any time with the other options, but somehow know for sure xyz. Many of us have owned and shot both sides of the debate but for some reason dont get to offer our opinions. Not sure what it is, but team AEA has more blocked members on my account than all the others combined.

And to those that think we are all just a bunch of FX fan boys trying to get a sponser? please take some time to look at our previous posts. Some of us have been VERY critical of FX. But the hard truth is if you want a certain level of performance or features FX is still one of the best options.

Yeah I think your opinion on the EQ is only informed by a couple of threads here where people have complained about a bunch of issues. You act like it’s rare for a new gun to have a couple issues with the first production run…I remember seeing loads of “fx needs to stop making new guns and fix problems with their other guns…” in reference to the M4 after the Leopard is announced.

But for $950 it beats the s*** out of a stock fx anything*…. Only if you’re looking for a slug shooter. I have zero mods to the gun and I’m shooting 52gr javelins at 930 for 99.9FPE and 30+ a fill… on the exact same tune I got 805-810fps out of the 75gr Griffin boattails. I’m not even tuned for them that was just messing around. That’s 109fpe oh and the big boattails FIT IN THE MAGAZINE!

Unless you get one that has already been tuned your FX’s aren’t doing any of that. You’re gonna have to pump more money into the gun to do it…and frankly I wouldn’t want to hunt with one unless I was on tripods all the time. It takes .001 seconds to find pages of threads from people complaining about POI changes for even looking at an fx barrel wrong.

Karma has a solid steel barrel.. it already has ridden shotgun in the car with 0 issues..70cc plenum and 4500psi fill. That’s fresh out of the box. How many of your Fx’s can boast that?

I get you have a preference and that’s fine. My goal here isn’t to badmouth FX, I would really like to own one eventually… just think it’s silly to include them in any convo about “bang for your buck,” even used they aren’t cheap. Not to mention everyone selling a used FX acts like it’s a solid piece if gold blessed by Justin from UtahAirguns himself. Half the guns being listed for $1300-$2000 should be at $500 less. Additionally, you spend a lot of time talking about a karma gun that I’m 90% sure you’ve haven’t shot or even seen shot in person.

So basically give it a rest. If you’re trying to get an FX sponsorship or something then go comment on the Utah Airguns videos. And stop pretending you know about the EQ which is brand new cuz you read 2 threads here. I had been scouring the internet for a couple months, so the forums, YouTube, insta all that stuff. I even email pj Clarke at DonnyFL and the amount of complaints is actually quite small. Which by the way Karma is DonnyFL. AEA builds it to DonnyFl specs and design. Considering their reputation any issues will probably get sorted out.
Yea I'm looking to get a .25 and the Karma is one of my choices but, that Taipan Slash looks nasty. Over 130 ft/lbs in .25. See I'm not a pellet shooter. You could toss me a can of AEA pellets and I'd 3 tap hacky sack kick that bitch back to you. Lol. I don't want a compact nothin. If that barrel ain't over 22in you can keep it and if I got to buy an extra barrel and hammer to shoot slugs at the same consistency and less power as my $1000 guns well.... that's a problem.
