I just realized you said 100 cubic foot tank! Is that correct? That's 2831.68 liters, which would take approximates 312 hours, if my math is correct. So, it would have to be broken down to around 32 10 hour sessions, with adequate cool downs in between. That's one huge tank, did you possibly mean a 100 Cubic Inch tank?

He’s talking about Joe Brancato’s Great White tank, which is 9L/97cuft. Your math is off somewhere for you to get 2,831.68L lol.

I have a couple scuba tanks... One is 80 CF steel and the other is 100 CF aluminum. Max fill is 3300 psi. They are heavy as heck and I don't use them any more. If I do it's just to tether at the bench.

Considering that a CS3 or CS4 will fill the 9L/97 cu ft tank, this compressor will do it also, only faster. It will be similiar to filling the tank with two CS4s simultaneously.

Personally, I would go with the GX-E5K2, but which Air Venturi compressor are you considering? I can tell you, all the compressors sold by Air Venturi are rebranded and made by someone else.

Air Venturi makes multiple compressors, but most likely straight up, the GX will be a much better compressor - but it will also be a much more expensive unit too.

GX pump E-5K2 review
Just thought I'd post this up in case anyone is looking at these. They are great compressors (especially on value). I bought one to fill a 12L tank and it does so pretty quick, I did it from empty to full in about 3 runs of 45-60 minutes/each. The integrated cooling system got a little warm...

Just adding my two cents as a GX E-5K2 owner. It's quiet, fast, and drama-free so far. I highly recommend it. Also, buy the GX filter at the same time, they're a great pair.
