Other Recommended book

With several chapters on vintage air pistols, The Manic Compressive is a treasure-trove of what you're looking for; including velocity and accuracy testing, model dating, production numbers, and hunting with vintage air pistols. But since it's been out of print for a quarter-century, you'll be lucky to unearth one in all of Cyberspace.

Here's the table of contents, virtually every chapter including vintage air pistols information-

This one by DT Fletcher should be right up your alley. There is relatively little text, mostly it's 300 pages of factory catalogs, instruction sheets, drawings, etc. (the two recommended above are both fabulous, but of course the Encyclopedia of Spring Air Pistols has nothing on Benjamin's pneumatic and CO2 guns).

Also OOP and probably kinda hard to find, unfortunately.
