Karma Karma EQ in pieces..

I did get the reg apart, cleaned, polished...no more creep, solid from 1000 to 3000. I should get my Reg Butter soon. The washer stack requires a spanner screwdriver...which also should be here soon.

Still chasing velocity issues. At 1800psi reg (4300 cyl), I got just over 700fps with AEA 33.9g pellets. I went up in 200psi reg steps and at 3000psi, only 840fps! Transfer port verified wide open, ran the hammer spring thru its range...only velocity loss.

Am pulling the valve body today. There's gotta be a restriction somewhere.
I'd like to know what exactly you polished to make the reg more reliable. I'm wondering if i can do the same to my budget Avenger which is notorious for creep.

Addendum:

I woke up this morning and realized that the valve body seating issue isn't a "bug", it is a feature.

The valve body has spanner holes around its periphery because it is an adjustment. This is the "power wheel" of the EQ. Moving the valve body aft to "fully seated" = max power...and max air usage (meaning fewer shots per charge). Moving the valve body forward (using the spanners holes to turn the body in its threads) reduces how far the valve opens, regulating the volume of air available to the transfer port.

Now we have the full tuning suite:

1. Cylinder pressure
2. Regulator press
3. Power valve
4. Transfer port
5. Hammer Spring
You got it now you have a completely fully adjustable accurate and hopefully reliable rifle. I’m happy with mine, but I just haven’t had the time to go to a range big enough to test it at long distances. Thank you for all your contributions.

As I've said, it isn't for everybody. The biggest problem has been the learning curve...I mean, there's no manual, no documentation.

Now that I understand how it works, I expect it will be no different than any other bullpup PCP.

Yes, I would love to have a Red Panda!
Me too, but maybe when I win the lotto

You just have to take it apart, clean it foolish all the discs right on the edge where they meet each other then put a good quality silicone, Greece or oil after reassemble shoot a whole bunch of times starting at low pressure and then bring it up to about 100 psi more than you normally use it . Then degas adjust to your desire pressure. you should be all set. I did it to mine when I first got it and I never had a problem. He just had to be careful because you’ll probably break all the seals and the rack, especially if we’ve never taken it out so be sure to have a set of replacement seals and loop. Those with good quality silicone grease as well

Air shootist Reg Butter is the best.

I polished the little pressure crossbar that is directly under the allen adjustment screw. PJ at DonnyFL recommended that. It worked.

I think that polishing the Tinnerman washer contact points may also help but I didnt go that far. I used Food-Grade Silicone "Superlube" from Harbor Freight...but I bought the Reg Butter too, for next time. My reg was pretty dry.

Same boat here. Too hot to go to the range. I'm looking at SCBA tanks for tethering. Shoot more, pump less...

I’ve got about 450 rounds through mine in 10 days lol… just did another test and I’m hitting 110fpe playing with the griffin boattails.. today was just testing the 75g.

I also made a video showing that these ultra long slugs fit in the magazine which is a big deal.
