The only issue with the longer barrel is there's no shroud or anything that goes over the barrel, which in my opinion it looks ugly.

That was my first thought. It does look incomplete. I would have to fab up some form of shroud or it would bother me.The only issue with the longer barrel is there's no shroud or anything that goes over the barrel, which in my opinion it looks ugly.
Here's a video of how to upgrade your original Mordax into the Venom.
Sooo sweet. Definitely going to start saving for one of theseDana from MountainSport Airguns posted a short video on his Youtube about the Mordax a few days ago.
WARNING: It has pest elimination, so if that's not your thing, don't watch it.
Talked to Aoa today and they will be selling the long strike barrel separately here soon. I think he said it was $389 barrel only.Curious about adding a Long strike barrel (without the 180cc) with venom kit . Anyone know?
I'll test it today. I bet i can get 45 - 60 shots off. 4 to 5 mags.Tom thanks for the info.
Would you please share how many shots per fill you're getting with the Venom before it went off reg or was it off reg already by 30 shots?

Everything that I thought was lacking with the Mordax is resolved now, and for me it was shot count. I'm very happy with the Booster kit!So far, how do you like the Venom kit? Are you happy with the groups?
I'm pretty sure you have to dump all of the air out of the tank, and then dial down your reg screw. Then you fill it back up. You can increase power with air in the system, but you can't lower it.Has anyone tried turning one of these down to a low-powered silent tune? I take single 30 fpe shots in my backyard with a good moderator, but I'm eyeing the mordax and would like to do some full auto plinking (or absolutely blitzing a rat lol) without the neighbors noticing. Like a 12FPE or something tune that's mouse fart quiet? I haven't seen any videos of anyone tuning it. Is it the same as some of western's other guns? How hard is it to switch from full power to lower power?
