Has anyone tried the AEA .22 38.6gr out of a DRS Pro? I bought a tin to try them out but I do want to reinvent the wheel if someone has already found a good speed for the best accuracy.

You'd best have a nice long barrel, 600mm minimum, they need to go 900 - 940, if they love the barrel you can go faster. I've got a 500mm Maverick and mine fall out of the end of the barrel, can't get enough air behind them. I can do 21 and a touch higher in slugs and up to about 28gr in pellets that it's pushing it too hard.

I know this doesn't answer your question but maybe it will help. I have a .22 DRS Pro with a 700mm barrel and have it set up to shoot 100yds with Javelin Gen2 .218 23gr with a reg press of 86 bar at 900-910 fps. At 20yds it just drills the same hole, at 100yds it's running just under 1" 5 shot groups.

Almost forgot, I'm using that same setup for Diablo Exact Jumbo Monster 25.39gr pellets. These I shoot at 65yds though with similar results.
