These are very fun air pistols. I tried the pumpers and al though they are powerful and accurate the work for each shot gets tiresome. Probably its the mods themselves that are fun!! Bu t in C)2 its simple and quick. Mine get s anywhere from 415- 460fps depending on pellet. At 15 yards it punches thru a soup can both sides .I can get nickel sized groups at 15 yards when bench rested 2 hand hold. Wood grips by Vern Austin [email protected]

I like the Crosman 150 but they are just too loud for me to shoot them at home. I bought an old TW150 at a pawn shop one time that had a broken grip. That old beater was the best shooting pistol I ever had. I have read that the Ted Williams model didn't have a different barrel but there was something special about that pistol. I wish I had not sold it, but that was years ago. I now have both a S&W78 and also a Crosman MK 1. I shoot both of them on half cock most of the time.

yes, the way i heard it Crosman made sure all the ones going to Sears or Montgomery ward etc were selected best machined of the bunch maybe best blueing whatever. Same like beemans selections of HWs. I have both the 150 and the MKI/ LD with an 8 inch barel. The MKI is slightly better in sevral ways. Better trigger, better power, a touch more accurate and efficiency of the upside down cartridge . BUT the price is weight and size.
