Weihrauch is just taking precautions to avoid getting a lot of lawyers on their backs.I was lookin at the Weihrauch hw44 and read lots of good things about it, I do have a short question,
in the manual it says the following :
"When using charging equipment with a filling pressure of 300 bar (4.185 p.s.i.), a pressure reducer must be used which has to be set to 200 bar (2.900,76 p.s.i.)." What does Weihrauch mean with this?
Yes, that's how you do it: Close the dive tank valve when the pressure in the tank on the pistol reaches 200 bar.My diving bottle is filled at 300 bar, I cant lower the internal pressure of the bottle. However, if I close the main valve of the diving bottle when the manometer reaches 200 bar there is no problem right? I also have the huma inline external regulator, but all it does is limits the outgoing pressure to 200 bar even if I fully open the main valve of the diving bottle, it doesnt lower the pressure in the diving bottle.
keep it and save for a rifle .Hell yea for HW44s. I'm thinking about selling mine to get a rifle though
But what I mean, lets say after 12 years it no longer works, can Weihrauch put in a new air cilinder? Because they say they can only inspect it once after 10 years.Any Air container has a life span , it is for a company liability .
If your concerned , just order a new cylinder and save it to use when this one is too old , Many air containers have date way below actuall safe date on the bottle . This of course is up to you weather you do or not .But what I mean, lets say after 12 years it no longer works, can Weihrauch put in a new air cilinder? The only way it would no longer work is if it leaked or blows up , Leaked is an O ring gasket ,Blowing up , not likely .But what I mean, lets say after 12 years it no longer works, can Weihrauch put in a new air cilinder? Because they say they can only inspect it once after 10 years.
But I cant find the HW44 air cilinder online to buy, also there is no clear description of how to disassemble it.If your concerned , just order a new cylinder and save it to use when this one is too old , Many air containers have date way below actuall safe date on the bottle . ask on here under PCP pistols , i have read a few threads describing exactly what you need to know. One thread was where the person changes the Sir tube to a Benjamin tube equal to the barrel length for more air . ,But I cant find the HW44 air cilinder online to buy, also there is no clear description of how to disassemble it.
