What springer did you shoot today?

TX200 .177 @ 30 yards as you can see I suck . maybe i can blame it on 106 degrees ? not even any wind to blame it on ! View attachment 581012
That target is awesome. Ain’t that fun Crowski? Area down here has bunch of wasps this year. I’m posting them one by one.

My Pro Sport is at 12 and the TX is 14. Don’t go by me. Crow
Thank you! A friend bought us an Arken ELP4 6-24x50 scope when they were on sale, and although I love the view at 24x, I find I shoot better with it at 14-16x. Target acquisition and parallax adjustments are more forgiving, too. I think you shoot way better than me, and it helps to know it's not just me. (y)

Much appreciated.

TX200 .177 = one squirrel less to steal seed .
The other day I just about passed out. I saw an albino squirrel. Well he was blonde, I mean she.
Check this guy out I stole his love nest.

Day of rest, means day of shooting. Shooting a keeper, a HW85 .177. Haven’t shot much, just got it in trade for pictures. I like this gun so much this is my 3rd 85. Blows me away AoA doesn’t carry them.
The one .177 will be reg.spring the other .177 a 12 FPE spring. With long barrel it’s a breeze to jack. This gun would be lucky to have 100 rounds through it. Needs a muzzle end.

Here’s 5 shots 46 yds. Second shot clean through. Then lunch.

Awesome guns.
When I see the lower gun it for some reason, reminds me when I was I Las Vegas at the Gun Store and shot a Thompson machine gun. So cool, and totally illegal here. Crow

Finally stopped raining long enough for Kimmie Two Guns and I to shoot a little. Her HW50S .22, my long barrel 97K .177 and Diana 56TH .177 . Metal targets and chalk targets at 20 and 25 yd. Love the chalk, the targets just get smaller and smaller. I actually shoot a hair better with the 97 than the 56TH because the 97’s trigger is better. Little bit of creep in the T06 2nd stage. Which is okay, manageable, feels like a PCP trigger. But. Every 5 or 6 shots suddenly there’s no creep. Takes being surprised by your shot to the extreme! When you’re talking guns with this kind of accuracy it makes a difference. The Rekord is just more consistent and predictable. Now that we’re shooting again hoping Hector is still available to fix it up. Still a heckuva gun and I love shooting it.

Greetings dormitionskete:
I have been shooting almost exclusively at 75-yards, from the shooting bags, and I set the scope for that distance at 24X. I don't need field of view for that set up as my target acquisition is within a 3x4 foot box. I basically set it and forget it..

Fantasy "Diana 65RT". The Diana 75RT is very rare, they never made a 65RT.
The gun was really worn, no sights, no sleeve, no pad...now carbon fiber sleeve covers the rusty barrel, Chinese scope, fake wooden RT butt plate...and almost as accurate as a fixed barrel 75!

Thanks. 35 yards is my limit. But I shoot exclusively .177 -- I've never even shot a .22 air gun -- and I have to be able to hit within 1/4" to make a good clean kill. I couldn't do that at 75 yards in my wildest dreams.

I got 5 chippers today despite being sick and not spending much time outside. What a day. That makes 76 for the year so far, not including other critters. I end up burying some almost every day because the cat can't eat them all, on top of what she's getting herself.

We have a point where they love to tease me b/c they know it's out of my range. 65 yards minimum. If you ever want to come to central Colorado and show them who's boss, that'd be keen.
