Cornwall, England. Been shooting for almost eighty years but cataracts have forced me to give up.
Luckily I'm having surgery in a months time, so hope to be back on the range before Christmas.

Hello! Levy county Florida west of Gainsville. Been on AGN since June '18. This area of Florida is currently under an "extreme heat warning" never seen one of those issued before, 80* for a low with 78* dew point going up to close to 100* today...99* yesterday, takes a lot to keep me from shooting, usually wind, but this is ridiculous. Welcome to the sunny south!

Bill and Pat from Airgun Geeks coined me the other Wisconsin airgunner. Not many in the state ? LOL

I am from/live in New Jersey - I think we can still get pellets shipped here but not much else

cataracts = one eye a week = 2 weeks plus maybe a few more days and done , at least that was mine .

I seem to remember Ypsilanti Mi from my youth, but we moved to Louisiana in 1960.
I settled in Sun Louisiana about fifty miles north of New Orleans.

I'm pushing 80, so only been shooting for about 73-74 years, Dad started me with a .22 LR rifle.
My wife and I both had cataract surgery about 4 years ago, piece of cake. I was nearsighted and still could see any sights, irons or optics to shoot well before the surgery. My problem was halos when night driving, still have them but not as bad. .

Now my vision reversed, I am 20/20 without glasses distant vision perfect and just need glasses for close up, reading now. My wife was lucky she was farsighted and was able to keep the same lens prescription she has been wearing for over ten years now.

They have a seafood buffet about five miles away that only opens three nights a week, and it is at full capacity every time. A large patronage from the New Orleans area makes the trip there.

We got one next town over that only opend the 2ed wensday of the month in season .. its tough to get in it as well . Some of the best frog legs and seafood.
