What pistol did you shoot today

I hear you brother, my Beeman P11 is hard to cock also, so I don't shoot it much. There are plenty of pcp pistols out there, from Hatsan, Velox, Sortie Tac, Jet, AT-P2 ect. I would recommend one that is regulated like the Reximex RPA to the Weihrauch HW44. Check out youtube for reviews. Good luck!
Thanks! All recommendations go into a file for some time in the future!!

Back outside with my ear-splitting Schimel … mein LugerPistol 😁. Using 33gr pellets for close range tin can demolition, and regular 14gr for everything else.

Schimels don’t have conventional poppet valves and springs. Instead, the gas is manually transferred. A lever is pulled back and forward to transfer a bit of Co2 into the breach. When the trigger is pulled, this gas is fed to the barrel which expels the pellet. So it’s a bit more fiddly to shoot. But I suspect that it transferrs a lot more gas than is needed and hence the loud “bang”.

Another early Day had #3 to rebuild..the last of the Mohegan’s…I think I will call them the …”3 Musketeer’s”….All For One And One For All….gave them all the paper test this morning and I would say they all made the Honor Roll…today’s forecast is triple digits here and I work on cars…I am hoping for AC jobs today

Very nice setup…you have reached the top of the line in PCP Pistols..The Rolls-Royce…but the cost to Owning and Operation is a game changer …I know if I decide to do that it’s at least a 4K comment for me for the setup I will want…even with my tank supply it can only be charged to 4500psi or 310 bar which doesn’t even get me a full charge…so another 800 for a 5k compressor…every 40 shots…don’t get me wrong I want one of these…but all my other guns would never get used again…lol…if I do take the big plunge…the built would be something like this…awsome Gun thanks for the post

Just rebuilt 2 more Crosman’s for the Collection..Model 1600 and a 454 Co2 BB Repeaters…they are no picnic by any means to fix ..although they are very similar and the kits fit both models they are differences inside…before warned that when you separate the half’s you kept one finger pressing down on the saftey lever ..there is a tiny ball detent with a spring if you loose it …problems…both gun‘s we’re never apart before..but the 454 they soaked it with WD-40..it was a sticky mess…the 1600 wasn’t to bad ..but that took 4 tries to final get it right..this barrel has a C-clip on it and it wouldn’t let the bb’s enter the hopper..fixed that..reassemble to test fire..could only hit the paper half of the time.. I had polished the barrel with JB cleaner and finished it with Blue Magic..thinking I shouldn’t have done this ..didn’t know if they had a crown like a rifled barrel..found another issue fixed that ..reassembled shot excellent but the sights are non adjustable on the 1600 so I borrowed the sights from the 454..wow very happy now..the 454 is coming apart again for a barrel polishing after seeing what the 1600 is grouping and I need to find another adjustable sight for the other gun…sorry I am long winded today…when ever replacing a valve plunger 🪠 on most air guns..they should be dry fired at least 20 times before you put air to it ..so the valve seats in properly

Still have more breath left…lol…after shooting for more than 50 years now ..it took that long for me to figure out how too shoot these guns…single pull triggers…I was always taught to squeeze the trigger with the ball of your index finger straight back…but that theory doesn’t apply to these guns at all…try dry firing using the tip of your finger and when the trigger breaks it will pull to the right every time…now slide the trigger to the first break in your finger pressing hard…now the front sight stay’ perfectly straight when the trigger breaks ..what took me so long to figure this out…

Speaking of Threesome’s I acquired 2 more… Mk1 & Mk2 …the Mk2 …I robbed but the MK1…I had to give up parts of me that I won’t mention…so it worked out to be a fair deal in the end..the MK2 was from a pawn shop it came with a original holster and Crosman carry bag 💼…just had to replace the cap and piercing seal…they had no idea what they had and when I popped in a cartridge …I knew it was most likely going to leak …I told him it was just a part’s gun and he sold it at cost just to get rid of it..left them all stock for now..had some mounts and scopes kicking around so I dressed them up…My Brother‘s in Arms

Ok I want one …This is going to be a hunt for the Holy Grail…do you have a model number for this Threesome and what are their name‘s and number…lol
Umarex Smith & Wesson 586.
I believe I am at least the third owner, the guy I bought it from got it from another guy who had it stripped, polished and chrome plated, including the all important magazines.
Not sure if it qualifies as a 686 now though... 🤔

It's a bit of a fingerprint magnet, so it's going to get a treatment of Renaissance Wax quite soon.
