The knurled/wide ends are on top.Thank you! I assuming the "small end" is at the top of casing, wide end on bottom/underneath.

Yes i don't use the factory shroud as I made my own. For the .177 I used 3D printed cones for the Umarex origin and for the .22 I use five cones from the Marauder rifle. Im sure the big one beats it but the Krycirion would be #2 quietest IMO and is easy to find. Its ugly but it works good.These are my favorite Notos mods in order of preference from left to right. #1 is Subscriber's latest Tesla Valve "large," #'s 2&3 are a pair based on the Original Subscriber but modded by a forum member, #4 is Subscriber's latest Tesla Valve "small" and #5 is the Original Krycirion.

Out of the 18 Notos mods I have tested (unscientifically) the Krycirion is one of my keepers.Im sure the big one beats it but the Krycirion would be #2 quietest IMO and is easy to find. Its ugly but it works good.
