No. I know that will bother some.
They are operated to keep in good working order only. Although it would be fun to shoot them, I feel a responsibility to preserve them for the next custodian. Plenty of more common examples I can shoot all day without concern.

Very cool! I still shoot my R1 20th anniversary on occasion. I have taken many pigeons, squirrels, and a crow with it.
