Well most been able to contact gamo support and get a new part . ( Thats big for gamo to give parts out for anything ). Wount sell a piston seal bit no problem sending out a auto loader part for free. Lol .. gamo .. lol
Just send email with the issue and maybe pictures .
At worse they'll ask you to send it in under warranty. If under a year old all cost is on them if over a year on a "5 year" warranty gun You just pay shipping to them . They will yell you whats needed .
I used there warranty once on a bad gas ram and it was quick and easy .
"Wount sell a piston seal" Vortek now sells them, both my gamo's have them. To early to tell the final outcome. I have been through 5 seals now in my 2 gamo swarm Magnum's gen3i 10x.
Lessons learned:
Got a freebie from them with a scope, but the company pisses me off, sent one in, got it back, still shot crappy, opens it up, piston seal was dorked.
#1) DON'T DRY FIRE THESE THINGS!!! My latest one dorked up with just one dry after about 2500 rounds.
#2) DON''T put ANY silicone or grease for the seal, my latest one lasted the longest by not doing that during the "cleaning process". And I have been cleaning air guns for 30 years. These guns are DIFFERENT.
#3) Pay attention to the pellets in the mag's, every once in a while the next one one will pop up in its holder, DONT cock the gun with it like that, it can f' up the loading mechanism
I shoot every day, all through the day, and these things take out game @75 yards all day long when you have a good scope that ain't broke yet and the seals aren't "seared and pitted".
Other than that, I got nuttin!
