CenterPoint 6-20x50mm Rifle scope

did you align the scope to the barrel? photos? gun? rings? pellets?
need more real info to get help here,,, what does a 10 shot group at 10 yds look like? before ya try longer distance
with a low priced scope like the CenterPoint, I would do 5 shots between adjustments to the reticle to zero

Is it just me or is this scope complete trash? I can’t get it dialled in and I’ve had numerous people try. Idk if it’s just low quality or what.
Having owned plenty of centerpoints, you can just call it low quality to trash grade (relative to what is out there now)

Is it on a springer or has it ever been? The reticle connection points have been known to break on those with rifles that have a specific recoil impulse. Powder or air. The first time I broke one was on a 6 lb 45-70 rifle shooting very spicey handloads close to African game power levels.

The 2nd time was on a Mendoza 22 springer, and it can be done at the end of travel on the turrets if any amount of force was needed. That's all the centerpoint experiences I ever had.

Unsolicited words of advice: I spent most of my shooting years buying THE CHEAPEST optics I could get away with. In the last 5 years I've changed and spend a little money on scopes now. 4-500 dollar range. It's made the experience better and my abilities better and it's totally worth it. Just for your level of enjoyment it's huge having good clear high def glass and quality turrets. If you need to stay budget, the "sniper" brand first focal plane optics for under 200 bucks on amazon have been pretty decent performers too.

I've posted this before, but I got a CP 4-16X40 (

I think that is the model #,
I know it seems like a lie, but it is bright and clear. As clear as my Hawke Frontier, maybe only a tad darker with both at 16x, but nothing earth shaking. Tracking is spot on, lighted reticle works as it should. I mean this thing sold for something like $89, though I got it in a trade. I didn't give it a look, just took it off the gun it came on and put it in the shop for probably a year, when I needed a scope for checking out a gun and holy cow!, I couldn't believe how good it is! The ONLY gripe I have is the crosshair is just a tad too thick for my liking, and I just don't like front parallax scopes at all, but man, this thing works.

Every time I say this, I have to think I absolutely got the magic scope from CP that came though just perfect. I mean it's gotta happen at least once, right?
