N/A On average, are PCP semi-autos more complex and less reliable than side lever?

I have several of the newer hammerless semi autos, and you need to pay attention to a bit more details than you would with a single shot; caliber size, weight, and speed of trigger pull are all important factors more so than with single shots from what I’ve experienced. I think the reason being is the cycling of the magazine more than anything else. ill fitting slugs/pellets due to size and weight affect the cycling of the magazine, as well as other things such as regulator. as far as the settings and adjustments, I try not to mess around too much with it because doing so increases the chance for leaks, which I hate having to figure out. Also, I’m pretty sure these semi autos have way more O-rings than a single shot, which means more chances for leaks.

Biggest mistake I ever made since joining the airgun bandwagon 25 years ago was purchasing my first and only semi-automatic 2 years ago. Got myself a new Evanix Cloud Ultra in .25. Bum rifle purchased from Bum dealer New England Airguns. Troubles started from day 1. Would eat up breech o-rings like a hungry beast. Trigger tripped the scale at 10+ lbs and after shooting 10-12 shots she'd go full auto. Tried to talk to the dealer to take it back, no dice. Even contacted Evanix and got the same answer. Stuck the POS in a bag and put it away. $1,800 thrown out the window. Will never buy an Evanix ever, and from New England Airguns much less! Never again...................................:mad:
