Omega 75 cu. ft. bleed valve leak

i have this tank from AOA. it has a minor leak coming from the push button bleed valve while filling the gun. can i add a drop of silicone oil to the push button to maybe lubricate the seal?

looking for suggestions.

The suggestions I got from forum members on my post which is similar. It can't hurt.

Pull the clip holding the bleed valve, slowly pull out. The clip is the hardest thing. Lube orings and if possible polish the spring. (fine grit sand paper or buff). Solved my problem. (hard release!).

Took all of 5 minutes

I had the same issue. Order yourself a set of o-rings for the pushbutton and have them on standby and just replace as needed. Quick fix, just don't loose the little split ring holding the push button in place.

RMF... thanks! but which one is it? i had a set of orings but did not have the exact one. but thankfully it was close enough and seems to be working.

Oh sorry had meant to write that they recommended the 90 duro but I got the 70 and it was easier to install and works fine. Been on for months now without any issues. Sorry forgot to type that bit.

The orings are so cheap I bought 50 of both the 70 & 90 but the 70’s have worked fine so far. Don’t think I’ve changed it since it’s gone on.

Yes, the guage does have to be removed.

I just got this leak and had to replace the o-rings. I also polished the spring end that constantly passes through both o rings. I lubed the o-rings with a light coat of silicone grease. The bleed button is noticeably easier to release after the job.
