What did you do airgun related today.

Today we had the second field target match in Iowa. Three people shows up and I got to introduce someone new to field target. I went first then explained what I was doing . After adjusting to an 8 oz trigger he did great and had a blast.
He shoots long range and makes his own bullets. I think he might be looking for an airgun now . Haha
I spent all morning setting up a benchrest lane also. We now have a clear 75 yard benchrest range and three 100 yard lanes for some extreme field target.

I’m exhausted. It been a long day .

Finished another 2240 stubby #3 in .177 cal. No blings on this yet as I'm finally starting to run out of loose crosman parts, lol. Had to make a hammer spring cap/adjuster for this. I'm planning to give this to my niece for her birthday in Sept. 19th, last year I gave her a custom MK1 with 12" barrel and she has been loving it. She took a liking to my stubby when they came over on the 4th of July, so I'm going to surprise her.

I have been restoring, refinishing an old Freeland wooden palmrest that I plan on using on an old FWB 150 target rifle.

Did the first test shooting of the .25 EQ after complete teardown, regulator tweaking, trigger job, etc. I think I may have a handle on my regulator creep. Have ordered some regulator butter...need to make/find a spanner screwdriver to get the washer stack out.

Did some pellet testing with the Stoeger XM1 Scout in 22cal., seems to like the heavier pellets.

Waited for UPS to deliver my HM1000x. As usual, they failed. So, I get to sit around and wait again tomorrow.

Sat my Krait Standard on the kitchen table and stare at it. What a paper weight No scope, too broke. B-Day coming up, oh, and so I hope.

Thread the barrel on the new stubby build for a moderator adapter. Made a new barrel band and started to refinish an old grip I made before. Waiting on a left side breech to cut down.

Finally received my seals got the bottle back on the Zelos. Bouncy said I did it right.

Got a rude awaking when the the Zelos bottle seal ( Too fat a seal ) leaked. Man it was loud. The air was supposed to breathable , but no way it smelled.
I guess Bouncy was wrong. Lol.

Installed the Snowpeak trigger guard on my Zelos. Hopefully this leads to a bit more consistency as my zelos came with the bottle/barrel band with picatinny rail.

Also identified that if you forget your cleaning straw in your barrel and proceed to fire a pellet through the rifle, the straw acts like a sabot. Zero accuracy at mach Jesus, and will punch straight through a warehouse loading dock door. 10/10 would not recommend.

Making a custom compact moderator for the new stubby build. This one will thread straight to the M-10 muzzle threads, no adapters needed as I know my niece will misplace it if I use a M-10 to 1/2" unf adapter.

At 4:50 am I had a rude awakening when the bottle seal ( Too big ) blew out , and woke me up. I fixed it with a smaller proper seal at 6 am

I also had to go Dr.'s today on way back stopped by my fav pawn shop to look at a Texan I was eyeballing , but it was gone. Then I found a very nice
Diana 350 Magnum with a plastic woodgrain stock , and a RWS insignia on the side in .177 . Perfect bore , and crown , so I jumped down the layaway Rabbit hole , and won't be able to climb out untill October.Lol.
