I have had a cz 634 lux (blue synthetic stock) in storage for years now and brought it out and shot it again and the shot cycle is and always has been very twangy and buzzy and unrefined for such a low/medium powered springer. It actually shoots well and is very accurate with wadcutters like rws hobby and QYS training pellets and also JSB's but its such a loud and violent shot cycle that it definitely needs a REALLY good tune. The trigger can be adjusted to be very light but it might be the worlds only 4 stage trigger with how many times it sticks and stops before the final pull. Is there anything to do to make it less rough without spending more than its worth by sending it out to be tuned? I feel like i just want to move on from it or just put it back in storage if it can't be made more gentle to shoot.

Line the piston with blister pack plastic. I cut a piece just thick enough to hold the spring a bit firmly in the piston. Tight enough that the spring will not fall or shake out if you hold the piston upside down. It’s a cheap tuning kit. Cannot believe the difference. Smooth cocking and no twang upon firing. There are videos out there of how to do this. Good luck.

well you have described the 634 to a Tee
so there is a product called tune in a tube it is a red grease that you apply to the spring without taking the gun apart and that grease looks just like Red and Tacky which is a red grease and is known to be used on airgun springs and i would use the Red and Tacky
the trigger is something i have always wanted to take a look at myself but i have found if you leave the safety on and pull the trigger and then take the safety off you get a better trigger pull
i have found the trigger adjustment, well lacking in any changing of the trigger
i would have done my trigger but seeing that that model trigger was hard to find as a backup so if you screw yours up sort of thing
twang is not a problem for me the trigger is and i have a blue also

it has to be one of the easiest springers to take apart so i have done it before and lube tuned it and also polished a little but it really did not change much

I have worked on a few of these guns. It's pretty easy to smooth out the shot cycle with a proper guide, lubes and deburring. The ones that I have experience were very accurate. It's hard to do much with the trigger, but polishing the right areas helps. It's not worth trying to hot rod them, they are perfect low power guns.

I have the blue one also,it is accurate,twany and has a stupid trigger design,yet for the price good,I can not get over how stupid the trigger is.,funny you said 4 stage trigger,but that is what it is.....

the trigger will not return to where it started when you start pulling it and after watching the video i have no idea why and the trigger as triggers go is longer than any trigger besides all the other Slavia's so leverage should not be in play

the shot cycle is quite loud, I'm sure its not very loud from a distance but next to my ear it feels loud, i used to have a paul watts tuned hw30s so thats my only other comparison and i guess thats not fair to compare to. I bought the gun directly from the cz website many years ago and it was fun to shoot at first because the barrel is very accurate but i'm thinking about selling it honestly because i don't want to make any modifications to it

Tom at Vortek has a kit on file that he made for a buddy of mine! The trigger is a different story. Lube it up and it does get a little better with use but not much.
