I recently purchased a Zeiss Conquest V4 6-24x50mm w/ ZMOAI-T20 65 reticle and mounted it to a tricked out, suppressed Ruger 10/22. I am shooting CCI Suppressor hollow point at 975 fps and continually shoot 3 shot hole on hole groups at 50yds. I've shot many good and a bunch of great groups with this gun over the years, but the Zeiss has just made it that much easier. After unboxing, I immediately noticed the brightness and clarity at all magnifications. The center of the reticle is illuminated and the side parallax focuses down to 10yds. Another great thing is that when I adjusted for eye relief prior to torquing the rings, The outer black ring was a very thin line. I've had many dozens of scopes over the years and go through a very detailed (anal) set up process, but this one was just very easy. This is my first Zeiss, so I am not a fanboy or anything. I do have one concern about it that I can not understand When shooting at the same distance with my .30 FX King that wears a Helix Element 6-24x50, I can clearly read the competitor info that is printed in the upper right hand corner of USBR 50yd target while at 24x. I can not do so with the Zeiss at the same power level. This baffles me, but what does stand out is that the Zeiss stays bright and clear throughout the power range while the Element Helix starts to get darker/milky as it gets past 18x. Both have great turrets, track, and retain zero very well, though I am not a dial turner. I keep a dope book and learn my reticle markings for faster target acquisition. Small creatures at short range don't wait around for you to click. Anyway, I am comparing apples to oranges as the Zeiss cost $1k more, but the Helix is a great scope at that price point. I just wish it had an illuminated center. I am sure that the Nexus is a totally different animal. Another item I can throw out there is that my Helix would not hold zero when I first bought it. I sent it back to Element and a new replacement came back at no charge. I haven't had a problem with this one.
I hope this helps your decision.
