N/A Pellet profiles?

What exactly is a "Diablo" type pellet? I see several companies use that description on their pellets. How do they differ from anything else?
that refers to the narrow waist of the pellet , i assume it reduces the amount of lead in contact with the lands in the barrel and also allows for the skirt to expand into the grooves ( I could be totally wrong in this )

Diablo means Devil.

Diabolo, prounced dee-aa-bow-low, refers to an hourglass shape (sand timer) and gets its name "Diabolo" from a 2000 year old Chinese toy of the same basic shape.

The hourglass shape was chosen for 10 Meter Precision Air Rifle pellets and 10 Meter Precision Pistol pellets whose muzzle energy can be less than 7.5 joules (5.5 ft-lbs).

The diabolo shape greatly reduces pellet to bore friction allowing higher pellet velocities for such low energy levels and lite pellets (usually < 9 grains).

The head vs skirt outside diameters of the diabolo are varied based on desired Internal Ballistics.

The hollow depth of the skirt, length and thickness of the waste, and the shape of pellet's head, are varied based on the desired External Ballistics.

Diabolo pellets are NOT drag stabilized.

Diabolo pellets do NOT share the External Ballistics of a Shuttlecock.
