Anyone with an up or down thumb on this unit. I haven't seen one or used one but I'm off the FX line. I'm looking for new credit.

What problems does your fx give you. My v1 works nearly flawless. Rarely ever misses a shot.

My FX v2 always misses shots. The Athlon hasn’t missed one. The FX stops at 1100 fps - not a problem unless you just want to know how fast the sound breakers are going!

Thumbs down! If you shoot adjacent to other shooters it will not only pick up your gun … BUT … it ALSO picks up the guy next to you. Garmin and FX will only pick up one gun.

Is this personal experience? Others report the opposite... that they've had no issues with it picking up other shooters' shots.

Yes, this is MY PERSONAL experience using the Athlon crono during a N50 match @reiffra945 was on the bench next to me and it picked up his rifle as well as mine.

Our benches are 5’ on centers. I think it picked up 60-some shots between the two of us during one card.
