Thought I'd update and add this to the post... Beeman R9 in a Paul Bishop custom stock he called "Espresso".

Love looking when Mike posts pics of parts of his collection. I get to see some gorgeous rifles and I get a bit more of an education in the older guns every time he does. Thank you, sir, always very much enjoy your posts.

I'm also a fan of thumbhole stocks, but anymore, they seem to be getting more and more rare as a factory option.

Yes, I will use epoxy to attach although I have used Gorilla glue in the past and that seems to be fine also.

Still not attached but placed there for the pic this is what it will look like. Needs a few more coats and sanding in between

Seems i am the odd man out. have always really liked the look of thumbhole stocks and wanted to try one. then i found a almost new Diana 470th for sell rather close by so bought it and took it home pulled it outta the box put to shoulder and HATED the fit and the fact it was like shooting a 2x4 strait with no curves low combed and hard to get an eye though the scope. put it back in the box and never ever shot it to this day. I am sure some of those custom jobs fit way better yet will never know
