Black wolf prices

Gladly there is guns for everyone liking in this hobby , and happy me is not a money thing what stops me . is a what I like thing. After a few years changing guns let me know that a well tuned $500 BT 65 will shoot .30 pellets just as good as the $4000 ultimate pcp on the market at least from 10 to 100y does the BT 65 would win a competition NO does it will feel refined n well machined NO . But for the non competitive back yard shooter it will be more than enough. So for what I need them or I like there is no way I go more than 2k for a toy . Same way I would not spend 140k on a new truck when a $40k will do the same for my use.. but for those who enjoy spending that amount of money 💰 well fine for them to .. 👍👍

Again, when then final point is made "spending the money"

I will never spend that money, but I actually can identify some of the cost differential that each and every one of the people that here actually buy a Black Hawk failed to do.

Machining and Materials.
While the BT65 is a fine rifle it is not built to the exacting standards of a Black Wolf. The equipment used to manufacture a Black Wolf is significantly more expensive than a rifle like a BT65. The engineers and machinist that operate this equipment increase the overhead costs per unit. The volume is low so there is no amortization of the overhead across a greater volume. The post manufacture quality control is more detailed due to end use criteria. The materials used to manufacture a Black Wolf also receive significant levels detailed manufacturing and quality inspection.

Is it $2000 more, no, you are simply paying a premium for a name.

These are not PB built by hand by Guido Gunmaker in his shop. They are a well marketed commercial product that carries a name cache. End use criteria adds a cost above the more mundane rifles like the BT65. But it is still just an airgun.

I know where the bump in cost came to be , but like you said it is just a airgun, I could see my self paying top dolar for a custom PB if there was a place in this island to properly use them, but there's none , only military with really tight timing to use them. But is the same in every hobby.. RC is way worse , it really surprises me how RC cars has evolved from when I was a teenager to the turbo n supercharged RC monster cars now . I imagine most will cost from 6k n up . We still don't have 6k pcp .. 🤣😂 but they are really trying hard . N the fun thing people will buy them .

Anschutz is getting close at $5000.

But that falls into the Competition exception. You pay what you must to win.

The other 95% have no use for a rifle like that. Or the Black Wolf or the next FX incremental upgrade they will snap up after last year's incremental upgrade.

Impact Mk4: $2250 used
Impact Mk2: $1100 used
What does $1150 buy you?

I will never compete, I don't like to be around people, I always shoot alone exactly the way i like.. I go to private beaches only just because I don't like people in the beach. So you know that a powerful regulated condor is just enough for what I do . I enjoy trying to perfect my casting skills n son my swaying skills.. like the joker said im a man with simpler tastes little gasoline ⛽️ n some powder n I'm god . N let the world burn 🔥.

I competed back in my military days. But that was more about access to the range, a dedicated rifle and ammo for free. The USAF generally did not let most non-cop jobs stateside even qualify after basic training.

I have no interest in competition ignoring the fact my skills have deteriorated over the years. I just shoot for fun and pests. Do I try to keep my groups tight, absolutely. Does it bother me when they are not, not especially. It is just a hobby, not a lifestyle.

Would it bother me if I had to give up this hobby, probably for a couple hours, then I would figure out the next hobby.

They are just airguns...

The only other hobby I have is buying houses to rent.. I don't see my self doing anything else, I'm about to close a deal for a farm land maybe, farming n shooting 🤔

Held off thinking it was more off a standard model to come in below price point of the electric & hi tech wonders... The only Daystates I have ever ive owend are 20-25 year years old.... Also not fond at all of the super large burned in lazer Emblems- would totally hate to see that on a nice walnut stock. Keep it tastefull tiny- clean or on the grip.

I have access to farmland with a phone call. Farms are actual labor, I'm an Engineer, specifically because I do not like labor.
I'm used to hard work.. I don't hang with anyone so i don't have nobody to call .. and the world is pretty strange .. n i live in the citi so if the crap hit the fan you have a place to go that is yours. No farm guy will give me n my family food for free..this is a island everything enters by boat if only that get affected by a few months, no supermarket will get anything, everything will be gone in less than a week .. after hurricane maria, ask me how I know.

Again? Missed the part where it is interchangeable with things like furniture or autos?

I can definitely define the finer things in regard to many products. Properly stored and aged William-Selyem and Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir would be a good example. Wines made by two of the best winemakers in the US Bob Cabral (formerly) and Thomas Rivers Brown. Quality, consistency and taste are only matched by a handful of others like Kosta-Brown and Anthill Farms. And you pay for that.

By your own admission....

Dose not equal this:

In a similar way.....

Does not equal this:

And that's just in the most basic comparisons of the stocks. Start getting into metallurgy and machining and so on and so forth the vast chasm between the quality of of those two final products grows....as does the price.

Isn't the franzia and rivers marie functionally the same? The whine guy is literally pissing money away lol.
