RTI Epic One 600mm or Mora 600mm both. .22

I like epic, and I’ve held the mora , the mora is solid, I don’t remember weakness/ flexibility anywhere, I think the profile on the mora is better. I also think it’s easier to change barrels on the mora, more in line with Epic 2.

I have the Mora in 357 and the Epic in 25. I love both guns. But the Epic fits me better. The action on my Epic is smother and easier to use than the Mora. The magazines on both are very easy to use. Only thing is with the Mora they will fit very long slugs. On my 25 Epic the longest I can fit are the Altaros Queens 60gr. I also use the Corbin Press. Both guns shoot most slugs I have made with it very well. If it was me getting a 22 cal, it would be the Epic. But you can't go wrong with either. Might come down to do you like bullpups better or not? Oh sorry, I just reread this. My epic is the Epic 2 not the one. I guess what I had to say doesn't pertain too much.

While the bottle shield was machined from a solid piece of aluminum, they did remove a ton of material to save weight. For my bench shooting needs, the m lock shield has too much torsional flex to it. I purchased a 5.5 inch long m lock arca rail for mine and ended up removing the bottle shield altogether and I bought a saber tactical 60mm arca clamp for my tripod mount. It may behave differently with separate bi pod legs mounted to the side of the m lock shield ? Idk. Ive had my Mora 25 for a few weeks and it shoots altoros 60gr slugs very well.

I was going to say 100% the Mora. The only I've found Epic about the epic is how bad the valve is with one, two maybe three slow first shots. The Mora is a solid beast and shoots amazing.

I have the Mora in .25 and the two, in .22. I find both to very well made.
I have no issues with the bottle shield being flimsy on the Mora, but others have said similar things about it being thin.
I think the cocking lever on the Mora is fine but it's certainly different as only the last maybe inch of pull has any pressure and that's very smooth in my hydraulic hammer version. I enjoy it as much as the epic.
I don't have the epic one but would have purchased it for the length factor if it had been available last year.
I guess to me it's a toss up between the two, with only the length being a bit different in the Epic two.

I have an epic one , razor back and it is absolutely solid ,very accurate and consistent, It sounds like lots of people are having problems with there mora,s at the moment regulators and the like the balance of the mora is very rear biased too

I have an Epic One and have been shooting it for over 8 months. I have the 700mm .25 CZ barrel, the 550m .22, the 550mm .177 and the LW .30. I have been shooting the Epic One in my local club's NRL22 style tournament once a month. I shoot the 60g Alteros queens at the tournament and the AVS 60g boat talis for hunting. The gun is way more accurate than me. Adjusting the regulator is much easier than my P3, so I can't compare it to a Mora. I've not had a "first shot drop" with the One. I put the wooden stock on it and like it more than the tactile stock. Changing the caliber takes about 15-20 minutes once you get the hang of it. The only problem I had with it was the fill probe that first came with the gun. It would not work with any pump but only an air tank. David at Epic sent me another one and it works fine. I've had more problems with my P3 than the Epic One as a comparison to operation. But the P3 is no slouch and neither is the Mora. Both David and Rok are great at responding to problem questions and helping one out.
