Howdy and greetings from FL

If you have any interest in Field Target, we shoot monthly in Nokomis, and monthly in Arcadia. We’d love to have you come shoot with us. John
Hey there! 🎯 Where are you shooting at? My mother-in-law lives in Nokomis, and I'm always on the lookout for cool events down there! I hear the DeSoto Airgunners hosts some exciting matches—are you part of the action there? I’d love to connect! Is there a calendar of events I can check out?

Welcome! Also in Florida, Palm Beach area.

You've definitely found the right place for all your airgun knowledge.

What PCP did you order for your first? Are you planning on hand pumping or compressor?
So, I took a big plunge and went with the Epic Two Walnut Classic. I’ll be compressing and looking into feeding nitrogen to the compressor.

We shoot 1st Sunday of the month at Knights Trail Range in Nokomis. The airgunners use the Lekatchka Archery section all the way in the back. Our next match will be in August. If you’re interested, I’ll let you know the particulars when I get them.
We also shoot on the second Sunday of the month at Desoto Gun Club (Desoto Airgunners). We shoot Fieldtarget during the cooler months, and benchrest during the summer. Check us out online. Anyway…if you have any questions or need a loaner rifle, PM me. PS all shooting is with>20ft lbs airguns. Hope to see you out on the range. John

That sounds great! I'm definitely interested in attending an event. Just to clarify, when you mention ">20 ft-lbs airguns," does that mean you're looking for airguns that produce greater than 20 ft-lbs? I want to make sure I understand correctly. Is this requirement the same for both the Desoto and Knights Trail ranges?

Thanks for the info, and I look forward to hearing more about the August match!

Sub 20 ft/lbs…less than. Yes the requirements are the same. All AAFTA sanctioned follow those requirements. John
